These general terms of sale (“Sale Terms”) set out the terms and conditions that will apply when you buy any products from our shop on our website – www.vintage-jewellery.ch

The purpose of the Vintage Jewellery website is:
To provide advice to its clients, (regarding both selling and or buying jewellery) helping in their choices, by presenting its jewellery online and offering these services via E-mail, telephone (virtually) or personally in the Zurich Showroom.
To provide information to its customers about the company news and history.

These Sale Terms form an integral part of the purchase and sale contract between you and Seller or Buyer and all sales of Products through the Website are subject to and expressly conditioned upon these Sale Terms and upon your assent hereto, and no other party shall have any liability whatsoever with respect to the Products sold through the Website. No variation of these Sale Terms will be binding upon us.

Your Privacy is important to us and any information you share will be kept strictly confidential.
We use your personal data to provide and improve our services and/or resources.
By using our website and/or related third party services and platforms (i.e., social media), you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2.The information we collect about you

When you subscribe to our sales and marketing newsletters, campaign contact forms, or submit information through third party sites (i.e., social media), we may collect the following personal information from you:

  • Family Name and First name
  • E-Mail address, where applicable (Private or Company)
  • Telephone number (Private or Company)
  • Company name, where applicable

The data is collected from both international and Swiss customers. If you wish to notify us that any of the information, which we hold about you is incorrect or misleading, we will have the information corrected or amended in a timely manner.

The newsletter is sent via an online provider company called “Mailchimp” and this can be easily unsubscribed, when not wanted.

3.How we will use the information collected about you

By providing your information to Vintage Jewellery you agree or consent to us sending you communications. The relevant information is then used by us to communicate with you on any matters relating to any service provided.
This relates to information collected both in Switzerland and from other countries.

Data may also be disclosed for the legal protection of users, for compliance with legal requirements and for the defence and protection of the rights or other legitimate interests of the website operator.
It should also be noted that in the event of a sale, merger or other reorganization of the company, personal data may be disclosed or otherwise shared with third parties as part of the transaction. (DHL sending)

VJHP does not sell, rent, or disclose our clients’ names, addresses, email addresses or other personal information to any other entity.

Although we will do our best to ensure we protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use procedures and security features to restrict any unauthorised access.

Updating our privacy Policy helps to improve your experience with us and helps to protect both you and ourselves. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy is reflected by the version date located at the top left of this Privacy Policy.

We use these tracking measures in order to ensure that our website is designed to meet users’ requirements and is continually optimised. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our offers. These interests are legitimate interests within the meaning of the aforementioned provision. are transferred to and stored on servers of Google LLC, a company of the holding company Alphabet Inc. in the USA. The IP address is reduced by activating IP anonymization (anonymizeIP) on the Website/App prior to transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or Switzerland. The anonymous IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In such cases, we provide contractual guarantees to ensure that Google Inc. maintains an adequate level of privacy.

The information is used to evaluate the use of the Website/App, to compile reports on the activities on the website and to provide other services related to the use of the Website/App for the purposes of market research and tailor-made website design. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of the company. According to Google LLC, under no circumstances will the IP address be linked to other data relating to the user.

Users can prevent the collection of the data (including the IP address) generated by the cookie and related to the website use by the respective user for Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:

We provide you with certain social media services, in particular the sharing of product information on Facebook, Instagram, etc. The relevant services can be found on the individual product pages under the heading “Sharing” or in the apps under profile. Our purpose to advertise our site and products is to be regarded as a legitimate interest. By implementing special share buttons etc, we offer you the possibility to interact with the social networks and other users, so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. You can recognize the provider of the relevant icon by its initial letter or the logo. We offer you the possibility to communicate directly with the network provider via the button. The manner, in which the network providers use the data from visits to their pages for their own purposes, the extent to which activities on the page are assigned to individual users, how long the networks store this data and whether data from visits to the network pages is passed on to third parties is not conclusive and clearly named by these networks and is not known to us.

The network provider may store the data collected about you as user profiles and may use these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website.
